Discover Dubai’s red dunes at a gentler pace on a family-friendly desert safari, featuring an Al Qudra flamingo lake photo stop, a gentle dune drive, camel riding and sandboarding. This relaxed experience welcomes families with children and babies, as well as older guests, subject to individual needs and suitable seating. Please share your children’s ages before booking so appropriate child seats can be confirmed. Babies require an age-appropriate infant seat. Pregnant guests and guests with back problems must consult their doctor before booking and contact us to discuss their needs. Ask your doctor specifically about the dune drive, camel riding and sandboarding. Even a gentle drive can involve bumps and sudden movements; we cannot guarantee safety or suitability for every guest. Your tour begins with pickup from your selected location. Enjoy city views and local tips from your guide as you travel towards the desert, approximately 45–60 minutes from Dubai. Your first stop is the flamingo lake at Al Qudra. Enjoy the peaceful lakeside scenery, look out for flamingos and other birds, and capture family photos before continuing to the desert. Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed. On arrival at the red dunes, enjoy refreshing drinks and pose for photos wearing a traditional headscarf. Take a short camel ride and admire the desert from a different perspective. Continue with a gentle, approximately 45-minute drive across the red dunes, including scenic photo stops. Feel the soft sand beneath your feet, try sandboarding or simply enjoy the views. Your guide will help capture memorable family photos. Participation in each activity depends on individual suitability. After your adventure, enjoy water, soft drinks and juices before your return transfer. PICKUP INFORMATION • Pickup is available from Dubai hotels, Port Rashid cruise terminal and Deira City Center (P1). • If your pickup instructions specify Holiday Inn Express, arrange your own taxi or hotel shuttle to reach it at your own expense. • Pickup from Al Maha Resort, Jebel Ali, Bab Al Shams, Discovery Gardens, Investment City and other outlying locations is available on request for an additional charge. • Pickup is not available from Naif or Al Sabkha.
