These terms apply to bookings made through our website, by email at contact@desertquadsafari.com or by WhatsApp at +971581263920. Please read them together with your selected tour’s description, participation requirements and booking confirmation.
PRICING & BOOKING OPTIONS
Unless otherwise stated, prices are per participant. Private tours, shared rides and packages for two or more guests are priced according to the selected booking option.
Vehicle capacity, minimum participant numbers and additional guest charges are stated in the tour details. A shared quad option provides one quad bike for two participants, not a separate bike for each person.
Only the services listed in your selected package are included. Optional activities, upgrades, additional pickup charges and guide gratuities are excluded unless expressly stated.
Prices may change before booking. The price confirmed for an accepted booking will not change unless you request an amendment and agree to any additional charge.
PAYMENT & DEPOSITS
We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout. Depending on your selected tour, full payment or a booking deposit may be required.
Where a deposit is available, the deposit amount, remaining balance and payment deadline will be stated during booking or in your confirmation.
Enter card details only through the designated payment process. Do not send full card details or security codes by email or WhatsApp.
BOOKING CONFIRMATION
Your booking is confirmed when we issue written confirmation. Check the date, participant numbers, selected options, pickup information and contact details, and notify us promptly of any errors.
The lead guest must share the tour requirements and these terms with everyone included in the booking. Each participant must complete any required activity forms.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
Cancellation requests must be sent in writing by email or WhatsApp using the contact details above. Deadlines are calculated using Dubai local time and the scheduled tour start time stated in your booking confirmation.
For tours booked with a deposit:
• The deposit is refundable if we receive your written cancellation at least 24 hours before the scheduled tour start time.
• If cancellation is received less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time, the deposit is non-refundable and will be retained as a cancellation charge.
• The deposit is also non-refundable if you do not attend the tour.
for payments other than deposits, the cancellation policy shown for your selected tour at the time of booking applies.
We will acknowledge your cancellation and confirm any applicable charge or refund. Requests are assessed according to when we receive them, not when we acknowledge them. If you receive no acknowledgement, contact us promptly.
These conditions apply to guest cancellations. If we cancel your tour, or a refund is required by UAE law, your statutory rights remain unaffected.
BOOKING & ITINERARY CHANGES
Booking amendments are subject to availability and any agreed price difference.
Traffic, weather, safety concerns, attraction closures, operational conditions and official restrictions may affect tour timing or itineraries.
Where reasonably possible, we will inform you of significant changes and offer a suitable alternative. If we cancel a tour or cannot provide a material part of the booked service, we will explain the available alternative, rescheduling or refund options in accordance with applicable law.
Activities may be stopped or changed where conditions are unsafe. Wildlife sightings and exact sunset conditions cannot be guaranteed.
Entertainment may change or be limited during Ramadan, religious holidays or official restrictions. Contact us before booking if a particular performance is essential to your visit.
ACTIVITY RISKS
Desert and outdoor activities—including dune bashing, quad biking, buggy driving, sandboarding and camel riding—involve inherent risks. These may include falls, collisions, overturning, uneven terrain, sudden vehicle or animal movements, heat exposure and serious personal injury.
Camel riding involves risks when mounting, dismounting and when the animal stands, kneels or moves unexpectedly. Sandboarding involves risks of falling, losing control and colliding with people or objects.
Guides, protective equipment and safety instructions cannot eliminate every risk. Even a gentle or family-friendly desert drive may involve bumps and sudden movements.
Participation in optional activities is voluntary. Guests may decline an activity if they feel uncomfortable. Choosing not to participate does not automatically entitle a guest to a refund; the booking policy and applicable law will apply.
HEALTH, AGE & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Guests must meet the requirements stated for their selected tour. Age, experience, seating and driver requirements differ between activities and vehicles.
Guests must disclose relevant health conditions or limitations before participation and obtain medical advice where appropriate. Disclosure or medical approval does not guarantee that an activity is suitable.
Guests must not participate while impaired by alcohol, drugs or medication that affects safe participation.
Parents or guardians must supervise children and comply with activity-specific age, seating and restraint requirements. Adult consent does not override these restrictions.
Where required, guests must present an official ID card, passport or driving licence to verify identity and age. Drivers must meet the stated minimum age and experience requirements, even where a driving licence is not required.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS & PARTICIPATION FORMS
Guests must follow safety briefings and guide instructions, use required protective equipment, seat belts and harnesses, and remain within authorised routes.
Reckless driving, unauthorised passengers, misuse of equipment and unsafe behaviour are prohibited.
Inform your guide immediately if you feel unwell, unsafe or unable to continue. Participation may be refused or stopped where safety requirements are not met. Any refund will depend on the circumstances, booking policy and applicable law.
Participants must read and sign any required activity acknowledgement, declaration or compensation form before the activity begins.
THIRD-PARTY QUAD & BUGGY ACTIVITIES
Self-drive quad and buggy activities are provided by an independent third-party rental company. The rental company supplies the vehicles and manages the riding activity, safety briefing and equipment.
The rental company’s identity and applicable activity terms will be provided before participation. Each participant must read and sign its required activity acknowledgement and compensation form before riding.
Do not assume that your booking includes insurance for self-drive activities. Any applicable coverage and exclusions must be confirmed with the rental company before participation. Guests should obtain their own insurance specifically covering quad or buggy riding.
The rental company is responsible for its equipment and operation of the activity. To the extent permitted by UAE law, Laetitia Tourism LLC is not liable for acts or omissions attributable solely to the independent rental company.
LIABILITY & EQUIPMENT DAMAGE
To the extent permitted by UAE law, Laetitia Tourism LLC is not responsible for injury, loss or damage arising solely from an activity’s inherent risks, a participant’s failure to follow safety instructions, misuse of equipment or unauthorised actions.
Guests may be responsible for equipment damage they cause, subject to evidence, the applicable activity agreement and UAE law. Signing a compensation form does not automatically make a guest responsible for every incident or equipment failure.
Nothing in these terms or any activity form excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits your mandatory rights under UAE law.
INSURANCE & PERSONAL BELONGINGS
We recommend travel and medical insurance that specifically covers your chosen activities, including motorised desert activities where applicable.
Vehicle or operator insurance may not cover every participant injury, equipment damage or lost item. Confirm relevant coverage before booking.
Insurance coverage is separate from legal liability. An incident being uninsured does not automatically remove any party’s legal responsibility.
Keep personal belongings secure and avoid bringing unnecessary valuables. Responsibility for lost or damaged belongings depends on the circumstances and applicable law.
PICKUP & CONTACT INFORMATION
Pickup locations, meeting points, timing windows and additional location charges are stated in your tour details or booking confirmation.
Provide an accurate pickup location and a working contact number. Be ready at the confirmed meeting point and contact us promptly if you cannot locate your driver.
WEBSITE CONTENT
Website content is owned by or licensed to Laetitia Tourism LLC, unless otherwise indicated. It must not be copied or used commercially without permission or another lawful basis.
Some promotional images may be illustrative or AI-generated. Refer to your tour description and booking confirmation for the included equipment, facilities and services.
GOVERNING LAW
These terms and bookings are governed by applicable UAE law. Disputes are subject to the competent UAE courts, without limiting mandatory consumer rights or available complaint procedures.
